Our Shampoo with Avocado promotes hair long growth, and helps moisturizes. All natural shampoo is amazing just be prepared for an adjustment period as your hair and scalp kick the mass-produced shampoo habit. There will be a two week adjustment period as your scalp detoxes the chemicals left behind by store-bought liquid shampoos. Be patient. You will have soft and moisturized hair after this transition period. Besides being easy to travel with and seemingly longer-lasting then liquid shampoo, they do not strip hair in the same way as detergent-based shampoos can. You will notice a difference in the way your wet hair feels after washing.
Here is a list of what we put into our Avocado Shampoo bars and why.
Rhassoul clay: leaves hair soft and shiny.
Avocado: helps soothe the scalp and promotes long, strong, healthy hair growth.
Lavender essential oil: moisturizes the scalp and balances sebum production. It is ideal for people who have a mixed type of scalp, for example, oily near the forehead and at the back of the head, but dry at other parts. Its powerful antiseptic and antimicrobial action makes it excellent for controlling dandruff and scalp acne complicated by fungal or bacterial infections. It can help heal minor injuries on the scalp caused by scratching, especially in children.
Rosemary essential oil: has anti-dandruff action, but it is best suited for people with oily hair. It tones down the action of sebum glands and clears up clogged pores that cause acne and itchy scalp.
Cedar wood essential oil: balances the oil secretion of the sebaceous glands; hence, it is equally beneficial for a dry or an oily scalp. The warm oil improves blood circulation and stimulates the hair follicles, resulting in vigorous hair growth. Its antiseptic action helps control bacterial and fungal problems, including dandruff.
