Our Lavender Rosemary Soap is a favorite among women. The scent of lavender oil is relaxing and the good dose of rosemary oil centers and balances the mind. There are many benefits of these two oils that many may not realize, here's some interesting facts...
- Lavender is mostly grown in northern Africa and the Mediterranean mountains, often for extraction of its essential oils, but you can even grow it here in New York summers, I've grown my own for the past 3 years.
- Medicinal benefits of using lavender to treat anxiety, fungal infections, hair loss, and wounds have been demonstrated.
- In ancient Greece and Rome, rosemary oil was thought to strengthen memory.
- The most common type of hair loss is androgenetic alopecia, better known as male pattern baldness, though it can also affect females. Rosemary oil treats androgenetic alopecia by preventing a byproduct of testosterone from attacking hair follicles, which causes this condition.
I believe that all products should be all natural, chemical free, and FUN! All my soaps are handmade in small batches using the cold process method. Our felted soap line is where I get to display a lot of creativity. A long process, each felted soap is wet felted, then needle felted by hand, no two designs are a like and depending on the detail of the felted soap, each piece can take anywhere from one to three hours a bar. Custom orders of both bare bars and felted soap is always welcome. Visit here to visit our Exclusive Felted Soap Collection.
Based in NY, we source local products as much as possible from local gardeners and community gardens alike, all of our soap is completely vegetable-based with no animal fats added. The recipes consists of saponified olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil and shea butter.
Extend the life of your soap by keeping it dry in between uses and make sure it's in a well drained, dry soap dish.
